Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, (IGKV) was established on January 20, 1987 under the Adhiniyam IGKV (Act), 1987, State and statues IGKV MP 1987. Is an autonomous agency, nonprofit research and educational organization dedicated to raising the livelihoods of farmers in Chhattisgarh. Education, Research and Extension are the major activities coordinated through agriculture, dairy, veterinary, agricultural and engineering schools and the Directorate of Education, Research and Extension. Grant support received from ICAR and State Government to fulfill the mandates of the University.
