The Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT), established in 1954 is the only national center in the country where it conducts research in all disciplines relating to fisheries and fish. The institute started in Cochin in 1957.

(ii) Desirable: Experience in instrumental analysis; Experience in Analysis of fish and fishery products for biochemical parameters; Proficiency in computer applications and data analysis;
Pay: Rs. 16000/- + HRA.
