Indian Oil Corporation Ltd needs 200 engineers in 2010 - Freshers

Are invited to the position of Engineers / Graduate Engineers Trainee (GAES) in the following engineering disciplines:

Chemical Engineering (including engineering petrochemical)

The eligibility criteria for the required educational qualification, age and other eligibility criteria and application procedures listed below:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have passed qualifying examinations grade and received a bachelor's degree in engineering and technology in the disciplines mentioned above (full-time in regular classes only) from recognized Indian Universities / Institutes.

Candidates (belonging to general category and OBC) should be guaranteed a minimum of 65% in qualifying marks in examinations. It is relaxed to "pass class" for SC / ST / PH candidates.

Candidates currently in the final year of engineering studies may also apply. However, if selected, they must be able to present their final scorecard before 31 July 2010.

Age limit

Maximum 26 years as on 30 June 2010 for general category candidates. The age relaxation for OBC (non creamy layer) / SC / ST / PH candidates will be applicable according to the Presidential Directive.

Concessions / Relaxations

The reservation of seats for SC / ST / OBC (Non-creamy layer) / PH (degree of disability of 40% or higher) will be maintained according to the directives of the Government of India. Age relaxation to OBC (non creamy layer), SC / ST and PH candidates will be extended by Presidential Directive. To get the benefits of reservation in OBC category:

The name of caste and community candidates should appear on the "central list of Other Backward Classes"

Candidates must be members or not the cream layer.

Candidates or need to submit a certificate of OBC in the format established by the Government of India. Age relaxation by 5 years for candidates domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir between 1.1.1980 and 31.12.1989. Age relaxation by 5 years for ex-soldiers and commissioned officers (including ECOS / SSCOs) subject to military service at least 5 years and meeting other conditions prescribed by the Government of India. The minimum percentage of points in the qualifying degree examination is relaxed to "pass class" for SC / ST / PH category candidates.

Successful candidates must all have the responsibility of India and transfer can be sent to any Division / Unit / Company Branch / Office of the Corporation. Remuneration Package

Engineers / Board candidates as engineers / officials will receive a provisional payment of basic starting Rs.23000/-per month. In addition, successful candidates will dearness allowance (DA) and other benefits, according to the rules of the Corporation in force, as amended from time to time. Other allowances and benefits include HRA / subsidized housing (depending on place of posting), medical services, performance related pay, bonuses, contributory provident fund, employees pension scheme, group personal accident insurance scheme, the license collection, the transport concession license (LTC) / ALF, non-contributory pension plan benefit fund, the progress of housing construction (HBA), the advance of transmission / reimbursement of maintenance, professional updation allowance, laptop , children, etc education grant and by the rules. How to apply

1. GATE-2010 is scheduled on 14 February 2010. For details of the Gate in 2010, interested candidates can log on to websites http://www.iitg.ernet.in/gate or other IIT and Indian Institute of Science (IIS), Bangalore.2. Candidates need to purchase the GATE application form as reported in GATE-2010 sites. You must fill out and send the GATE application form as directed by the authorities of GATE and wait for the admit card to get the registration number of GATE

3. Candidates GATE-2010 will receive their registration number printed on your admission. Upon receiving the registration number of GATE, candidates must apply in IndianOil online. The appropriate link is made available to Janaury'2009 11th in the 'People & Career bond of India Oil www.iocl.com website. 4. Applicants should click on the link to apply online, read the instructions carefully and complete the online application form to provide precise information, such as Puerta-2010 registration number.

5. Upon completion, the applicant must submit an application online by clicking the Send button at the bottom of the page. If it is accepted, the system generates a unique application identification, along with the completed application form.

6. The candidate must have a copy of the completed application, put your passport size photograph, put his signature in the space and keep him / her safely for future reference. The passport size photograph affixed by the candidate must be the same occurs with the GATE application form. General Instructions

1. Applicants must have an active e-mail id, which must be valid for at least the next year. All future communication with the candidates will be conducted through email only.
2. Candidates should have relevant documents, as percentage of marks obtained in qualifying examination, castes and sub-caste certificate, the date of issue, name of issuing authority, state of origin, etc. available to them before that the process of starting the application. 9. Candidates who are deemed to meeting the established eligibility criteria will be rejected at any stage of the selection process
