Tezpur University (A Central University) - Applications are invited in the prescribed form for the post of Finance Officer (Unreserved). Advertisement No.04/2013. This is a tenure post for a period of five (05) years from the date of joining.

Minimum Qualification & Experience: A Master’s degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC seven point scale (50% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/PWD candidates). The requirement of 55% of marks shall not be insisted upon for candidates who are already in the University system, but the minimum marks required in such cases shall be at least 50% of marks or equivalent grade. 2) At least fifteen (15) years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7,000/- and above or with 08 years of service in the AGP of Rs.8,000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration (OR) Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education (OR) 15 years of administrative experience, of which eight (08) years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
How To Apply: Completed application (Application in the prescribed format) accompanied by attested copies of all certificates, mark-sheets, proof of age, documents in support of present position and pay, etc., and a non-refundable application fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST/PWD) in Demand Draft of any of the Nationalised Banks in favour of Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur is required to be sent in a sealed cover super scribed “Application for the post of Finance Officer” to the Registrar, Tezpur University, Napaam, Tezpur – 784 028. The last date for receipt of application is 18/03/2013.
