The idea of creating an Urban Development Association of the authorities was first raised on 12 March 1982 at a meeting under the chairmanship of Secretary, Ministry of Works and Housing, Government of India.In January 1983, the Government Association Metropolitan Development (AMDA) was formed as a body with the active support of development authorities across the country and registered on June 4, 1983 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 .. AMDA was formed as a focal point for the exchange of ideas on town planning and development.
Essential Qualification
Bachelor of Planning/ Master Degree in Urban/Regional/Environmental/Housing/Transport Planning from a recognized University/Institution with experience in the field of Urban Planning.
Desirable Qualification
Knowledge and Experience in handling AutoCAD, Photoshop, MS Office Experience in preparation of Master Plan/Zonal Plan/Local Area Plan
Contract Period
One Year
Remuneration
Consolidated remuneration: Rs.25,000/- pm. Remuneration negotiable in case of experienced and highly qualified candidates.
